DAS not active

Hi all,

I am using Db2 v8.2 Linux.

When I try to create a task through Task Center, I am getting an error called "Administration Server is not active". Could anyone guide me on this..

Logon to the system using the DB2 Administrative user account. The default is dasusr1, but it might be different if changed during DB2 installation.

Then issue the following command:
db2admin start

Then run 'db2admin start'

If its not a crucial system you might have to run the 'db2admin create'
command first
