Hello everyone ...
While I was away from the office for the past 8 weeks, our network engineer had uninstalled some software from the server where our DB/2 exists. When attemopting to use some of the DB/2 tools such as the journal, we get the following error:
DBA1177N A database connection to the Tools Catalog Database "TOOLSDB" cannot be made. SQLCODE"42724" ICM00001N An Sql error occurred while connecting to the database. Database="TOOLS1", Catalog="CC". [IBM][CLI Driver][DB2/NT] SQL0444. Routine "SYSIBM SQLTABLES"(specific name "TABLES") is implemented with code in library or path "\db2schema", function "sqltables" which cannnot be accessed. Reason code:"4". SQLSTATE=42724
Unfortunately, he also did not save any back ups of the registry with path for my return and my back up was unable to restore/correct the path while I was off.
Any suggestions?
Thanks in Advance,
Joel.
