Hi ALL,

db2 version 8 sun 5.8
I need help from all.
My database server is hanging I can not issue any db2 command. no db2 connect to , no db2 get db cfg ...

1>The system and virtual memory is ok 1.5GB still available.
2>Logs are archived, log dir is not full.

Unfortunately, I deleted the dumpfiles just a few minutes before this issue came.

Any one get problem with database server hanging. Please suggest me any solution because many problems cause database hanging not only one.

Please guide me to analyze that to get the root CAUSE.

Chances are, you've deleted one too many "dumpfile", whatever it is.

What do you see in db2diag.log?

There was two errors that relate to store procedures but I can fix it late on by dropping and recreating them.
