What is CLI?

Hi

I am working with db2 v8.2.3 and aix 5.2,

could some body tell me abut what is CLI (call level interface) am I using this by default via db2/udb?

Hi,
CLI is communication protocol just like ODBC, but it is IBM solution. The default protocol is CLI and probably you are using it without of knowing it. More info about CLI: http://www-306.ibm.com/software/data...ad/v8/cli.html
