dascrt - dasuser does not have the privilege

if i'm trying to install db2 8.2 on AIX 5.3
it always fails with a SQL01092N
i just run the dascrt -u <dasuser>
but the user does not have the authority to do that

Does anybody know this problem ??

You have to do it as root, which is clearly stated in the installation manual.
