Any reference or documents for Auto maintenance in db2 v8.2?

Hi All,
I am working with db2 v8.2.3 aix5.2

I am going to use Automation maintenace for our database, I looked at IBM site and I could not find descriptive documents.

could youi please let me know if you know any reference or document for this subject.

my other question is:

Automated Maintenance feature in db2 v8.2 is offline maintenance or online maintenace ?

online maintenance controlled by
dbm cfg : healt_mon
and db cfg : many settings
see infocenter online or administration guide : performance
