Question Create database from DataFiles
We have a corrupt server and the DB2 7.2 database will not come up. The datafiles (SMS) are intact. Is there a way to import the data into a newly created Database?

Running on a Win 4.0 server.

Have a look at db2dart .. You will be able to extract data from the backup image or data files on a per table basis and import them ...

You cannot 'reuse' datafiles across different platforms ...
