UDB - DB2 9 on unix

Hi,
I need to know how easy is to install, tune, and work on udb on unix machines. If possible to let me know how easy is to support udb on the 4 major unix flavors (linux, hpux, solaris, and aix). This requirement came to me from my company in order to move the db from oracle to udb db2 9. we have many of the flavors of linux as well as the versions of hpux, solaris, and aix.
I did look into ibm db2 9 page and got the requirements; however i am still short on information on how easy or differences is the support on the different unix-es for udb.
ps. I am unix sys admin.
TIA, ./antonio/.

unix

regarding db2 there is no difference if aix or other unix is used
the only difference is while installing db2
eg solaris needs some setting in system file and this might request a boot
setting of assynch io readers is different on aix...
