Angry DB2 SQL Help

Table Structure
ID_I SMALLINT
FLAG_F VARCHAR(1)

I want to load this table with ID_I starting from 1 to 1000 and FLAG_F should be either 'Y' or 'N' selected at random.
Can i have a SQL to load this table at one shot?

Thanks
DB2Rookie

You could use recursive SQL (using a CTE) to generate the data for column ID_I; for column FLAG_F any pseudo-random number generator (scalar function) could be used (if pseudo-random is what you want).
