If you are installing Version 8:

http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infoce.../v8//index.jsp

Or Version 9:

http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infoce...w/v9/index.jsp

Read the installation sections

I am a little confused by your question. Export / Import, to me, deal with the data. Schema deals with the database layout. What exactly do you want to do?

(also when you have another question, you should start another thread)

Have a look at the "db2look" command. It extracts the DDL from an existing database. Option '-e' generates a SQL script that you can directly feed to the DB2 command line.
