DST impact on DB2 UDB v8.2

We have DB2 UDB v 8.2 running on couple of AIX and Windows boxes. All the OS is being patched to make the necessary changes for the new DST.

Is there any change required for DB2 also?

Thanks

Well FP 14 has a patch for DST, but I think this has to deal with the JVM for java SPs and UDFs. If you have any SPs or UDFs that deal with DST then they will have to be changed manually.

Thanks Andy,

We are not interested in upgarding DB2 from fixpack 7 to 14, unless its really required.

If I can get away from DB2 upgrade by just applying the OS level patch, I would be happy.

Any thoughts?

If you do not have any java SPs or UDFs, then you should not have to upgrade.
