Thumbs up SQL Replication offline load

Hi all,

I've setup SQL replication between two databases, but I don't want to start the capture/apply with a cold start as I need to protect the data in the targt database. In V7 there was an offline load process that would allow you to start first time without DB2 copying the data accross.

Anyone know how I do this on V8.2 for Windows (I was assuming there would be something in the replication center, but I can't see anything)

Any help really appreciated.

cold

you can do auto/manual refresh of subscription
in db2rc (replication center) get to the subscriptions and right click on the one needed : select auto or manual and follow the steps as before in v7

Thanks for the reply.

I don't seem to have the auto or manual options when I right click. I am using SQL replication if that makes a difference.

Appreciate the help

You are absolutely correct. No idea how I missed that !!

I now seem to be having trouble with the replication center itself. when I click the manual refresh, the repl center just hangs. other options work fine (properties etc). Do you know which ASN tables I need to update so I can start the replication without the repl center's manual load ?

I really appreciate the help
