Exclamation Restore FP7 image on FP14 DB

windows 2000

i have created a new DB (FP 14) and now want to restore it with a image of FP7. Do i need anything else than usual restore ?
I think nothing extra needed , However wants to confirm that !

restore

nothing special : just bind again
db2cli-db2ubind-db2schema
might run db2updv8

as the new DB is created on FP14 !

restore

as quoted before : and now want to restore it with a image of FP7.
the restored db will keep the bind files from previous fp level

Yes, of course. The database is at FP7 level. Only your instance is at FP14. The docs state explicitly:

The restored database is in the same state that it was in when the backup copy was made.
RESTORE will invoke migration, but that is not applicable to your scenario.
