DB2 ESE
how will i set that my query results will be displayed in the Query Results tab and not on the Command tab?

Assuming you are using DB2 8.2 for LUW and you are using the "Command Editor", Tools -> Tool Settings. Goto the Command Editor tab. There should be a check box "Display results for a single query on the Query results page".
