SQL0980C A disk error occurred

Hi

DB2 8.2.6 on windows 2000

Our database reported error :
SQL0980C A disk error occurred SQL0980C Subsequent SQL statements cannot beprocessed. SQLSTATE=58005.

As per DB2 help suggestion we restored the database from backup. the restore worked ok but we still get the same error.

Following is the extract from db2diag file..

Hari, Looks like there is a problem with your catalog .,..
"Perm Table(0:1)=TBSPACEID=0.TABLEID=1"

Have you tried running db2dart to identify the problem??? You should find info in the manuals ...

Contact IBM support to get further help

Sathyaram
