I got this error while running a query which is so long that i cant paste here.The error is as follows " SQL0901N The SQL statement failed because of a non-severe system error. Subsequent SQL statements can be processed. (Reason "bad outer compare".) SQLSTATE=58004 ". I am running the same query with a friend and surprisingly the query runs at her machine. I am using DB2 v7 in a windows platform. What could the issue be? Coz it seems that the issue is not with the query.

What version of DB2 is your friend using?

Is the query from each client going against the same or different DBs?

SQL0901 are DB2-internal errors (bugs). Your only option is to contact IBM support and open a PMR to get this fixed.
