The IDUG 2007 - India Forum, IDUG's first event in India, will take place 31 May - 2 June in Bangalore. This three-day event will feature a tremendous program of education and professional networking opportunities specifically geared towards professional database administrators and application developers who use IBM's DB2 database engine. The Forum features a robust agenda of technical content planned by practicing DB2 professionals and delivered by expert users, consultants, and representatives of IBM and other leading DB2 vendors. More than 32 technical sessions, covering such diverse topics as DB2 for z/OS, DB2 for Linux/UNIX/Windows, application development, table partitioning and design, storage management, the new DB2 release 9, Web applications, Data Warehousing, performance, recovery management, SQL, Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), PureXML, and the DB2 optimizer are on the schedule. In addition, attendees will be entitled to free certification testing and a day-long certification preparation course led by industry luminaries Susan Lawson of YL&A (for z/OS certification) and Klaas Brant of KBCE, Inc.
