Suppose i have table name in a variable and i want to create/drop the table how should i go about it......????

Generate the CREATE/DROP statement and execute it.

If the variable is in an SQL procedure, you can use the EXECUTE IMMEDIATE statement for that. In other programming languages, you use regular dynamic SQL.
