calculate memory

Is there any way to summarize memory allocated to db2?
The requirement is to calculate in such a way so we do not over allocate from physical memory on the box so db2 will not come up after change and restart.

db2pd is the tool that can track memory usage
see command reference for syntax
see developerswork for documents on this utility

db2mtrk can also be used. See the Command Reference manual.
