Question Using the LOAD Utility

Hi,
I cannot load data from a remote client to the DB2. This is the command I used.

LOAD CLIENT FROM 'C:\xxx\PA Batch Project\Sample application\data\sampledata1.dat' OF DAT INSERT INTO table1

In the above dat file the columns are delimited by using blankspace.
The process is not showing an end.

Please give me details regarding LOAD UTILITY for loading from a flat file.

I am very new to DB2
Please help me

the format can be
OF filetype
Specifies the format of the data:
* ASC (non-delimited ASCII format)
* DEL (delimited ASCII format)
* IXF (integrated exchange format, PC version), exported from the same or from another DB2 table
* CURSOR (a cursor declared against a SELECT or VALUES statement).
if space if separator that can lead to problems if character fields contain a space in the field
method l could be a solution
check info center for detailed options on load command
