what will happend when we use force application all, at the time of offline backup. what is the exact meaning of force application all.

offline backup,could be initialized only when all application has disconnected against the database.

db2 force application all :
It will kill all the applications which are connected to the instance.

Note:
To perform offline backup no users should not be connected to the database.
