how to store variables in sql/pl

Hi all,
I am looking for replacement of oracle functionality. in package body I can declare public variable, which store value after execution of procedure or function, prepared for next call procedure or function. this variable is saved until session running.
exists some possibility in db2?
thanks.

You can create a table (possibly a temporary table) and store your variables there.
