Using DB2 9 express tools to connect to older DB2

If I have installed the DB2 9 Express on my machine, can I use the client tools (or even the IBM DB2 .Net Framework Data Provider for IBM DB2) to connect to some older DB2 server?

Fantastic! Thank you.

How about, can I use the client access (IBM DB2 .Net Framework Data Provider for IBM DB2) to connect to a DB2 for i5/OS server?
