Question Using Iseries ODBC driver to pull DB2 Unicode to SQL Server 2000

Hi

I will be working with a client next week who needs to pull unicode or Chinese DBCS data from DB2 to SQL Server 2000 via SQL Server Linked Servers. We will be using the ISeries Access for Windows ODBC Driver. Is there anything "special" we need to know or do when we set up the Data Source Connection? On the ODBC Driver Setup, there is a section for "Advanced Translation" options - how and when is this used? Do we need to provide a "Translation DLL"?

My apologies for the vague questions... I will not be able to muck around with this until next week when I am on the client site, but would like to be a bit prepared. Apparantly they have tried setting this up themselves and have not had much luck and I have not been able to find useful information on how to do this.

Thanks
JKS
