DAS stop and start

Hi friends,

I have a question about the DAS server on db2.As far as i know this DAS server is useful for running control center,task center and other utilities.So, do you think stopping and starting DAS server on a prod server going to impact the users in any way.please give me more information about the DAS server and its usage

No, it will only affect the things you mentioned. Many production shops do not run the DAS.

thanks for the reply.Does the DAS consume CPU if all the control center,task center etc are not being used??
