Question command to verify a db backup?

is there a command that will verify db backup file?

i have a DB backup going that generates a 800GB+ back file that i need to transfer to a storage server. because of its size id like some way to validate that the backup is good after its been taken and moved.

If so what is the min. to install to use this tool? (just need to verify after its been moved, the server its moving to is just a backup server)

DB2 7.2 F13

Thanks
Justin

There's a DB2 utility, db2ckbkp, but I suspect that it's only available with DB2 8.

You need to be careful about what options you use, otherwise you will get more output than you want.
