Why db2eventlog.000.crash will be created ??
Does any body can overview why this file will be created. My database is not really crashed ( people can connect to db and can use it).

verion 8.2 fixpack 10 on AIX

Is it possible that it crashed previously and auto-started?

Check the timestamp of the crash files, and then check the db2diag.log to see if DB2 crashed and/or started about that time.
