I have a issue with db2 license center i am working on db2 8.2.3 on aix 5
here is the output from the license center which i am unable to understand

PRODUCT NAME - DB2 Enterprise Server Edition

REGISTERED USER POLICY DISABLED

PROCESSOR LICENSE STATUS VIOLATION

DATAPARTITIONING FEATURE NOT entitled
Q1 . why is it showing registered user policy disabled ?
q2.i have installed DPF then why it is not enabled ?
q3. I have installed db2 query patroller then with query patroller licensing status it shows me
Processor licensing status violation

Thanks & Regards,

Q1. Probably because it is licensed by CPU and not by registered user.

Q2. You installed the DPF license? If so, then I don't know and you should try to contact IBM support and open a PMR.

Q3. How many CPU's are you using, and how many are you licensed for? I believe that you can change the CPU's licensed number with the db2licm command.

The other possbility is that DB2 does not like your handle.

have you updated the instance with db2iupdt after the license for dpf was installed - same question for qp
check installed products from root - are you already using dpf / qp ?
