Red face creating new database on db2/AIX

Hi,

I still have db2 7.1 on AIX 4.3. And I'm creating a new database but I'm getting this error on DB2 (control center gui), sqlstate=57019. Can't find solution on the net because it's already on db2 8 or 9. I'm creating from a new user or new instance.

Thanks,
Itik

Is this what you are looking for?
No start database manager command was issued. SQLSTATE=57019
Solution: db2start
Or have a look at e.g. http://www.dbmonster.com/Uwe/Forum.a...anager-command
