V9 Migartion

According to documentation following are possible

32-bit Version 8 to 32-bit Version 9
32-bit Version 8 to 64-bit Version 9
64-bit Version 8 to 64-bit Version 9

I tried to create 32bit V9 Instance using -w 32 parameter. It wont give me an error but creates 64 bit instance.

I tried to upgrade V8.1 32 bit intance using the command db2imigr of V9 and i see the instance have been migrated to V9 64 bit.

Does it mean that 32 bit instances not allowed in V9 ? Is the documentation incorrect. Any one experienced similar issue

Maybe because your OS is 64-bit. The bit size of the instance in version 9 is now determined by the OS bit size.
