extract the DDL to create the Database

Hi,
Could anyone help me how to extract the DDL to create a Database. I am aware that using db2look we are able to extract the DDL of all Database objects? My doubt is how to extract the DDL to create the Database?

There is no DB2 facility to do that since create database is a command and not SQL. Some 3rd party tools will do it.

You can get all the necessary options to replicate a database (codeset, territory, etc) using the following command:

db2 get db cfg

Redirected restore may be be better option for you (If don't want that data Load with /dev/null in unix)
