how can I continue ?

Hi All,
I am Certified Advance DBA v8.2(db2 udb)with 8 years experiences in this field, I have plan to improve my kowledage market-base requerment. I dicided to have self study on CONTENT MANAGET, what do you think ? is it good idea for my future career ? if not what is your idea and what is the best plan for some body like me.
