can anyone list out the benefits of 64 bit db2 database.

There is nothing special about DB2 and 64bit - it is the same as for any other application. The main benefit is: DB2 can address more main memory, allowing for bigger buffer pools and other heaps used internally.

With all memory areas being configured equally, you won't see any differences between 32bit and 64bit.
