DB2 Backups, Jobs from Tivoli

RHL - DB2 V8.1 FP14

Is there anyone using Tivoli schedular to do DB2 backups and other tasks ? If so, is there a Interaction between the Tivoli and DB2 Administration GUI ?

Do you have to use a shell script to do the backups and run it from Tivoli or you can run DB2 commands from Tivoli ?

I am sorry, I am almost clueless when it comes to Tivoli and our management wants to run all DB2 tasks from a centralized server.

Any pointers will be appreciated.................
