In place vs direct migration
Hi all,

What's the difference between an "in place" migration vs a direct migration? Currently i am running DB2 V8 and i need to upgrade to V9. I require to perform an "in place" migration. Thanks in advance.

I guess my question is do i need to install V9 or can i just upgrade to V9 with the necessary binaries? Thanks again.
