for moving datafiles or tablespaces from one disk to another

Hi,
Please tell me what i need to do for moving all database files or tablespaces files from one pathe to another...

like...
if my all database files exist on /pawan/

and i want to move in /pawan1/

then what procedure required
whats action plan
please send me reply ASAP....

Look at db2relocatedb command (Command Reference manual).

I would definitively deactivate the database. I didn't find anything regarding instance start/stop in the documentation for db2relocatedb. To be on the safe side, stopping the instance(s) wouldn't hurt either.
