we noticed a strange issue for one of our applications.Client was not seeing 2 columns newly added although they are visible from server side...Another issue we noticed is that , I un enforced constraints and the client is not picking up that..This is happening for that particular database alone..

First, I would check if they are connecting to the same db as you making changes too. Then to make sure they are using the same tables. If thye are using the same tables, have you checked to make sure that your constraints working properly when you have implemented them?

Regarding the columns, are you using static SQL and packages?

No static ones..Also it is ok on the server side and i somehow think that the changes on server are not propogating to client immediately..Any jdbc/odbc issues??

did you have them check connection and make sure that they are using the right schema?

There are no "propagation issues". Any client will usually instantly pick up schema changes.

You should tell us how your client application connects to DB2, how it executes its SQL statements, what those SQL statements are, how you changed the schema at the server, how you verified that the change was successful, whether you have collected a CLI/JDBC trace and what you found there. Furthermore, it would be good if you read the post "Must Read before posting" (Must Read before posting) and provide us with the answers to the questions raised there.
