can anyone tell that how do we find out from a backup image whether it was taken in offline or online mode.

User db2ckbkp -H <backup image>

Look for the line "Backup Mode". 0 = offline, 1 = online.

Is there any documentation saying that 0=offline 1=online. because using db2ckbkp -h option is giving some other informations also. where can i refer this information. kindly guide me.

You need to use db2ckbkp -H, not db2ckbkp -h.
