Since you choose to not tell us which DB2 system you are using on which platform and you also didn't tell us what you try to do when the error is raised, we cannot tell you anything further.

it seems, that your directory is full.

check the VSAM-cluster
hlq.DSNDBC.DSNDB01.SPT01


251 extents ? No more free space on disk ?

extends reached 251

so i created a new vsam dataset for spto1 tablespace

but it does not take that in (ie) it is not activated

i stopped and start the database

afetr that also it is not activated
