Hi Stolze ,

Sorry for putting such a vague question !

Actually one of my client has asked us to develop a prototype for the correspondence search for its suppliers and recommended us to to explore db2 9.5 for its usage of ' correspondance search and also look for usage of a 'fuzzy' search , so even iam not sure what exactly that means .

Iam assuming its kind of a advanced search avilable in version 9.5 or something like that

Sorry, no clue. I don't know what "correspondence search" is supposed to be... maybe you should talk to your client to understand their requirements.

maybe document searching and fuzzy search something like netsearch or
looking for words.. in text/docs....

The client may be refering to something like a Soundex search, were you search for words based on the sound, even if you don't know the exact spelling.

But there is no excuse for not asking the client what exactly they are looking for.
