Question groups and users

Hi All,
i am using db2 v8.1 ESE on windows.
m facing problem with providing access to users in db2
1. is any kind of log entry made while adding or removing users?
2. any user who is in admingroup automatically gets the admin rights without explicitly adding that user from control center?

I think this is incorrect. I believe all members of the Administrators group on Windows have SYSADM autority.

hi,
i have verified that not all the users in the windows administrator group gets sysadmin authority. only db2admin has got all the privilges by default and other users can only connect to the database but cannot further access this databases.
