"direct" are authorizations that were given to you as a user.
"indirect" are authorizations that you have based on your memberships to groups where the groups have certain authorizations.

well consider as an example,when i run the command 'db2 get authorizations' it shows:
Direct SYSADM authority = NO
InDirect SYSADM authority =YEs
and all other authorities are set to 'NO'.
in this case what all are the things i am allowed to perform.
maybe you are part of sysadm group defined for this database
