How to drop database in restore pending state

I have a test database that is in restore pending state that I would like to drop and start over. I was attempting to restore using the redirect option, but it did not work. I tried aborting, but it says that no restore with redirect was issued( I am sure that I screwed up to cause this). Is there any way that I can drop the table and start over again? I should also add that I cannot connect to the database. My database version is v8.1.1.56.
