Hello everyone,

I'm about to migrate DB2 V8 to V9 on Windows but before I do i have a couple of questions. I have already uploaded the binaries for V9 onto the box:

1) When i run the setup.exe for V9 i want to chose "Working with existing" correct?

2) When i install V9 what happens to V8? Does it get overwritten? If so, how would i prevent this?

3) When i execute the wizard does it migrate both the instance and databases? Or do i have manually migrate the databases?

I'm not sure what else i'm missing but anyone can think of anything it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Looks like you are missing the very first step: "Print the readme.txt file and read it".
