Unable to GRANT dbadm to user

Hi all,

I'm logged on as our administrator which is part of the Administrators group. I try to execute:

db2 grant dbadm on database to user xxx

but it's saying that my id does not have GRANT priviledges.

I'm running WINDOWS, DB2 V9.

Thanks in advance

By Administrator, do you mean Windows Administrator? Use the ID that was created when you installed DB2 (DB2ADMIN) or add Administrator to the DB2ADM GRP.
