Hi,

I have a unix server which has DB2 8.2 fixpack 10 and two instances are up and running, when we install DB2 initially we forgot to install the Base Application Development Tools, now we need this tool.

Is this easy to install this tool alone or critical? can anyone give me suggestion and steps.

I think if you get the Application Development Client for the same FP and install it, it should work. You might want to test this first.

When apply the FP there is no option to select any specific tool or product.

The FP will only update what is already there. You will need to install the client separately.
