V9 back to V8?

Is it possible to fall back to V8 from V9 on Windows? Can i install V8 in a different directory if V9 is running?

I believe that you can have both version installed, just make sure that they are in different directories.

The only way you will be able to go from V9 to V8 is through db2look and db2move.

Ok thanks. When going back to V8 can't i just delete the V9 instance, recreate it on V8 and restore the databases from the V8 backups? I think i asked this question before but wasn't given a definite answer. Thank you.

Yes, you should be able to do that.
