db2 on win-server 2000

Hi guys

I have a question on db2/windows server 2000.
The answer should be from a dba perspective.

1. There is a server named DW-RD22. On that server, there is a share called data. In Windows Server 2003, how do you access that share without mapping a drive?

2. Using the share in Question 1, if you do not have permissions to access the share, how do you resolve the issue?

Thanx

I do believe that this is a windows issue, not a DB2 issue.

Yes, it is a windows issue. If Network Administartor is available, ask him.
But FYI
1 first of all user should have right to access the shared folder (granted by ADMN)
2 secondly it is available under Network Places - you simply click on it
3 you can try \\server\shared folder by typing in dos box or run box.

I hope that should help you
