Can any one tell me of point to some info regarding SYSSTAT.COLGROUPDIST & SYSSTAT.COLGROUPDISTCOUNTS.

1. I am trying to influence the Optimizer to pick one of the 2 indexes for a particular query. I can change the query cos, it is part of a third party product.

2. I want to try updating data in the stats tables including the above mentioned ones to see if that would do the trick.

3. I created Optimization Profile but, DB2 Optimizer ignored it.
