Archive queue is full

Hi,

we got this error message "Archive queue is full.
DB2 will not call userexit program for this database for 5 minutes"

we fixed this by stoping the services and started the services (DB2 v7 on Windows). But how can we prevent this in future?
Please advise

Thanks

What is the entire error message you are getting?

You should also consider upgrading your DB2 version. V7 went out of service several years ago, and V8 is about to go out of service early next year.

Are there any messages in db2diag.log that indicate that the logs are being successfully archived?

I didn't see any messages like logs are being successfully archived, but i saw one file in archived folder with todays date. I saw may of the following messages with yesterday date
"User Exit returned error when archiving log file S0008629.LOG from D:\DB2\NODE0000\SQL00002\SQLOGDIR\ for database AE, error code 8"

Thanks

This indicates that log files are not being archived. You need to fix the situation.
